  15. Contact us

This Policy applies to Generals of Legends, our websites, player support, and related services that link to it (the “Services”). Your use of the Services is also governed by our Terms of Service.

1. Scope and who is responsible

COUNT INTERACTIVE LLC (“COUNT INTERACTIVE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is responsible for personal information handled in connection with the Services, except where another company—such as an app store, payment provider, social platform, or community service—processes information under its own privacy policy.

“Personal information” means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer reasonably identify you.

2. Information we handle

The information we may handle depends on how you use the Services, your device, and your region.

2.1 Information you provide

  • Account and profile information: player name, account or player ID, selected avatar, account credentials or tokens, and linked-platform identifiers.
  • Contact and support information: email address and the content of support requests, bug reports, surveys, contest entries, or other communications.
  • User Content: chat messages, profile content, or other materials you choose to submit through the Services.
  • Verification information: information reasonably needed to verify account ownership, resolve a payment issue, or process a privacy request.

2.2 Information generated when you use the Services

  • Gameplay and activity: progress, inventory, characters, achievements, match or event activity, settings, interactions, timestamps, and anti-cheat or moderation signals.
  • Device and technical information: device type and model, operating system and app version, language, time zone, network type, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and device or installation identifiers.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, performance data, and information about how the Services function on your device.
  • Website information: pages viewed, referring page, browser type, and cookie or similar technology data where our website uses those tools.

2.3 Purchases

App-store and payment providers process your payment details. We generally receive transaction records such as product purchased, price, currency, time, order or receipt ID, and transaction status—not your full card or bank-account details.

2.4 Information from third-party sources

We may receive personal information about you from third parties, including social media and account platforms, app stores, service providers, and advertising or attribution partners, where permitted by applicable law and, where required, with your consent.

  • Social and platform account information: If you choose to connect to the Services using a social media or platform account, we may receive information made available by that provider and authorized by you. Depending on the provider and the permissions you grant, this may include your platform user ID, display name, profile picture, email address, and other profile information made available to us.
  • Friends and social features: If the relevant feature is enabled and authorized, we may receive information about friends or contacts who also use the Services. We may use this information to help you find or interact with those users and may display authorized profile information, such as your display name and profile picture, in your game profile, friend features, or leaderboards.
  • Advertising and attribution information: If you install or access the Services through an advertisement, we may receive information about the advertising network, campaign, referral source, advertisement, and related click, installation, conversion, or attribution events. Subject to applicable permissions and consent requirements, this information may include an advertising, device, or installation identifier.
  • Information from service providers: We may receive transaction confirmations, fraud or security signals, diagnostics, customer-support records, and other information from providers that help us operate, secure, support, and improve the Services.

We use information received from third parties to authenticate accounts, connect and synchronize game progress across supported devices, provide social and leaderboard features, deliver purchases, prevent fraud and abuse, attribute installations, measure advertising performance, and improve our Services and marketing campaigns.

2.5 Information we do not ask you to provide

Please do not send sensitive personal information—such as government identification, precise financial credentials, health information, or passwords—through chat or ordinary support messages unless we specifically request information that is legally necessary and provide an appropriate method.

3. How we receive information

We may receive information:

  • directly from you when you create a profile, contact support, participate in a feature, or communicate with us;
  • automatically from the game client, website, device, and related technologies when you use the Services;
  • from Apple, Google, or another platform when you download the game, make a purchase, use platform sign-in, or request platform support;
  • from a social, community, or account provider when you choose to connect it, subject to your settings and that provider’s policies;
  • from service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, support, and operate the Services; and
  • from advertising and attribution partners when you view or interact with an advertisement for the Services or install the game through an advertising campaign.

4. How we use information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, personalize, and maintain the Services and save your game progress;
  • create and authenticate accounts and synchronize play across supported devices;
  • process and verify purchases, deliver Virtual Items, and maintain transaction records;
  • provide player support and respond to questions, requests, and feedback;
  • operate social, leaderboard, multiplayer, event, and community features;
  • diagnose bugs, analyze performance, balance gameplay, and develop new features;
  • protect accounts, prevent fraud and cheating, enforce our Terms, and keep users safe;
  • attribute installations, measure advertising performance, verify campaign results, and optimize our marketing campaigns;
  • send service messages, security alerts, and—where permitted—news or promotional communications;
  • comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • create aggregated or de-identified statistics that do not reasonably identify you.

We do not use personal information to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing unless we explain that processing and provide any rights required by law.

5. Legal bases for processing

Where law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:

  • Contract: to provide the Services you request and perform our obligations under the Terms of Service.
  • Legitimate interests: to operate, secure, support, analyze, and improve the Services, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Consent: where we ask for permission, such as for certain marketing or device permissions. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with tax, accounting, consumer-protection, regulatory, or law-enforcement requirements.
  • Vital interests or public interest: where processing is necessary to protect someone’s safety or perform a task recognized by law.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may disclose it to:

  • Service providers: hosting, cloud storage, customer support, diagnostics, security, anti-cheat, analytics, localization, and other vendors that process information for us under appropriate restrictions.
  • Platforms and payment providers: app stores and payment services for purchase fulfillment, refunds, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
  • Advertising and attribution partners: advertising networks, campaign measurement providers, and attribution services that help us attribute installations, measure campaign performance, prevent advertising fraud, and optimize marketing, subject to applicable permissions and consent requirements.
  • Other players and the public: profile names, avatars, rankings, achievements, chat, and other information you choose to make visible through social or multiplayer features.
  • Professional advisers and authorities: auditors, lawyers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transaction participants: a buyer, investor, affiliate, or adviser involved in a merger, financing, reorganization, sale, or transfer of all or part of our business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
  • Other parties at your direction: when you ask us to share information or give valid consent.

Third-party platforms and services may independently collect information when you use their features. Their handling of that information is governed by their own privacy policies.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our websites and Services may use cookies, software development kits, local storage, device identifiers, pixels, or similar technologies to keep features working, remember settings, measure performance, prevent fraud, and understand usage.

Where required, we request consent before using non-essential technologies. Browser and device settings may let you delete or block cookies, reset advertising identifiers, or limit tracking. Blocking some technologies may affect Service functionality. We do not currently respond to all browser “Do Not Track” signals because there is no uniform industry standard, but we honor legally recognized opt-out signals where required.

8. International data transfers

Our servers are located in the United States. We and our service providers may transfer your personal information to, store it in, and process it in the United States and other countries outside the country where you live. These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, consent, or other lawful transfer mechanisms, to help ensure that your personal information remains protected in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide your account and game progress, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, accounting, or reporting duties.

Retention periods vary by data type and context. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. If immediate deletion from backups is not practicable, we isolate the information from ordinary use until deletion or overwrite occurs. Some transaction, fraud-prevention, legal-claim, and compliance records may be retained after account deletion where law permits or requires it.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No network, device, transmission, or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help by protecting your account credentials, keeping your device and app updated, and contacting us if you suspect unauthorized access.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • request access to or a copy of your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent without affecting processing already performed;
  • opt out of promotional communications; and
  • complain to your local data-protection or privacy authority.

You can change some choices through in-game, device, app-store, or platform settings. Marketing emails, if any, include an unsubscribe method. Service and security messages are not promotional and may continue while your account is active.

To exercise a privacy right, email support@countinteractive.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Tell us the right you wish to exercise and include your player ID if available. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Authorized agents may submit requests where law permits. You will not be discriminated against for exercising a privacy right.

12. Account and data deletion

You may request deletion in either of these ways:

  1. Enter the game and go to Settings > Delete Account, then tap the confirmation button to directly submit a request to delete your account and associated game data; or
  2. Email support@countinteractive.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request” and include your player ID and the platform you use.

We may ask for information necessary to verify ownership and prevent fraudulent deletion. After verification, we will delete or de-identify account data within the period required by applicable law, except information we must or may retain for legal obligations, transaction records, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or the establishment or defense of claims.

Account deletion is permanent after processing and may remove game progress, purchases, entitlements, and unused Virtual Items without a refund except where law requires otherwise. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your account or all associated data.

13. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children who are below the minimum age at which personal-information processing is permitted without parental authorization in their location. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child in violation of applicable law.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information without required authorization, contact us. We will investigate and take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information and closing the account. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of the Services and app-store purchases.

14. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as our Services, technology, legal obligations, or practices change. We will post the updated Policy and revise the effective date above. If changes materially affect your rights, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required by law.
